Real Revolutionary Service - RRS Feeds

Today was my first tour around RRS feeds - wow, somebody was thinking! I signed on to a few, but I can see how it can be addicting and time consuming! There are so many great sites out there, and, of course, one leads to another and pretty soon you've been looking around for an hours! At the same time, of course, this is a real time-saving device. I will enjoy having everything come to me. I'll be able to take a quick look and see what's new and have it at my fingertips. For professional purposes, I'll sign on to sites that relate to my position and to various subject areas and then I can pass on information to teachers and to students. I'm looking forward to surprising them with some great stuff! Personally, I'll be logging on to some sites that I enjoy, particularly sites with book reviews and it'll keep me up to date on what's new! I think I need to spend more time with the RRS feeds as although it is easy to do, the possibilities are quite overwhelming. I'm thinking that it would be good to subscribe to sites students could use in their research which would enable them to have up-to-date information.
