Cruising around flickr, there were so many amazing pictures. Since I could spend the rest of my life looking through all the photos, I decided to narrow down my search and look at pictures people have taken of libraries. So many are incredibly beautiful - the architecture of the buildings reflecting the beauty and creativity of their contents. However, upon seeing this shot, I knew it was the one to download. I have been to Italy four times, and I love it. I have been to the Vatican Library, and it almost overwhelms your senses with its intricate beauty. It's as stark a contrast as possible to my own library which is in bad need of a makeover! I often think that if I ever win a massive lottery, I would redecorate my library!

Movin' On

My first blog. I'm not sure if a year ago I could have told you what a blog was. This is my first step towards meeting my goals in developing my technological literacy. I haven't been kicking and screaming, just rather passive, preferring to read a book instead. Thanks to Carlene for getting me started!
