The Vatican Libraries (part of...)

Cruising around flickr, there were so many amazing pictures. Since I could spend the rest of my life looking through all the photos, I decided to narrow down my search and look at pictures people have taken of libraries. So many are incredibly beautiful - the architecture of the buildings reflecting the beauty and creativity of their contents. However, upon seeing this shot, I knew it was the one to download. I have been to Italy four times, and I love it. I have been to the Vatican Library, and it almost overwhelms your senses with its intricate beauty. It's as stark a contrast as possible to my own library which is in bad need of a makeover! I often think that if I ever win a massive lottery, I would redecorate my library!

Hello Tracy,

How are you?
I like your choice of a picture - it represents the library we would all like to work at! Having the he photographer comment favourably on your posting is quite a feat! Congratulations.
Thank you for sourcing all pictures.
